We went twice during our stay at Anse Chastanet. The place is magical with beautiful flowers and rare plants. We even saw a hummingbird’s nest. Do make sure that you visit this botanical garden. We had a guide the first time and he was very informative.
Lovely grounds and trails. The staff were very welcoming and new their stuff. Exotic flowers and trees were all well lablled for the non-botanists. The waterfall at the top of the grounds is stunning and it’s a shame you cant go for a dip. The baths looked very inviting although we did not try them. All in all a good experiance and well worth the few dollars fee.
This made for a perfect visit after a night of soaking in the sulfur springs. Already feeling relaxed and happy in general, we wandered through the rain forest, read about the local plants/trees/flowers, checked out the amazing waterfall, then soaked in the mineral baths.
Probably the definition of a relaxing afternoon. Highly recommend!
If you are into flowers, gardens, plants, and a small waterfall, gotta check this place out. Its a modest price for an exceptional experience.
This is an extremely well designed, beautiful botanical garden. We didn’t do the baths, but the falls are worth the trip.
People from around the world visit this beautiful garden and waterfall. See some people have to say:
Thank you Alexander!
